Chelsea are going to be hoping they can make sixth place still, for Europe, so they're going to be really up for it.

Didn’t we have this last season when every team Leeds and Leicester were playing were supposed to be on the beach but they kept losing to them? West Ham are much better than Luton and they’ll want to win their last home game of the season. Luton could get something but the most likely result, by far, is a West Ham win.
Chelsea have started looking very good: even the headless donkey that is Conor Gallagher has started scoring. As has Jackson. We need to nobble Cole Palmer (or hope he is ill) and play 3 at the back.
Even better is that Spurs do Burnley and West Ham remember how to play football against Luton so that we are home and dry before we kick off.
Highly likely that we don't need anything more from where we currently are (as long as we are not docked further points on appeal). If we do, we should be able to get them against burnley. If we don't, we probably deserve what we get.
Agree with this but mathematical certainty would please me immensely (although I would take a 3 point lead and +10 GD as we currently have). I think if Luton need to beat Fulham on the last day, they probably will. They won't beat them 5-0, though.
That feels like a post you could regret in a couple of weeks.
Quite possibly. But as tricky says, if we are in that position and don't draw/beat Burnley (who could be down by then) and fall foul of Luton overturning a 11 goal difference, then we probably deserve to go down. Like yesterday, had we drawn or lost, we can have no complaints about our fate. it will have been well earned....
I wish people would stop with this "deserve to go down" crap. We've been on the wrong end of about 10 awful referee/VAR decisions this year and have had 4 points deducted. There's a good case to say that we could have another 10+ points currently and be around where Palace are.
If Luton need to overturn an eight goal difference on the last day, I just pray Nuno da Costa is nowhere near any of the games.
I don't disagree. I'll qualify it in terms of the opportunity in front of us. We were docked points and have had some terrible decisions and might actually be on course for the lowest points total of a side who stayed up. Even then, we are still in control of our fate as a result of how bad three other teams are. So, if we fail to beat 2 out of those (already-relegated) teams in 2 out of our last 3 games in order to stay up, then we deserve what we get.
I see that Big Ange has chosen to prove that he's right, and everyone else is wrong, by a masterclass involving playing Brennan down the left.
I think it's fair to say that it's not going great. Only two down at half time, but more shots conceded than at any time in the last seven years.
Obviously watching CHO yesterday.
Salisbury (essentially a Phoenix club from the ashes of Salisbury City, who fell victim to a major fraudster a few years back) promoted to National League South via a penalty shoot-out in the playoffs today.
A few beers might follow.
Congrats! I recommend a bike ride!
You just have to say it, Michael Olise and Eze are some players for Palace. Currently beating Spam Utd 4-0.
I think that might be the players rather than the manager or we missed out on something pretty damn good.
Bugger.
