Ok, yes, mathematically. But I think they've already got enough really. I think they'll think the same.

Dyche is old school. He’ll want it mathematically certain.

So we'll go into our last three games out of the bottom three, playing two of the bottom three and with the possibility of getting a point or two as a bonus.

Still rather be in our position than Luton or Burnley's.

The thing is though we are absolutely shite away. I don't know about the stats, but we must be the worst team in the league if Sheffield United are. Burnley would love to be in a position on the final day where if they win they stay up. They will fancy themselves and rightly so. You can just imagine everyone on the bbc fawning over them and Kompany in his baseball cap. So we want to make sure we have a 3 point gap by then. Tomorrow is a no hoper. Sheffield United away is basically our Cup final. Unless err we lose or draw and Burnley make up ground or it stays the same in which case Turd Moor is our cup final too. But that will be a shit cup final. What can possibly go wrong at Brammal Lane anyway?

Having three home games on the trot at this time of season seems slightly unfair.

Just means that we had more home games than them already, and thus more chance to put space between us and them.

We may not go into our last three games outside the bottom three. Luton at home to recently-safe Everton next Friday, 24 hours before we head to Sheffield. Not beyond the realms of possibility that we start that game in the relegation zone, which psychologically is suboptimal.

Sheffield United don't like us very much and I'd imagine would be quite keen to take us down with them.

I'm actually thinking that Chelsea is perhaps the most realistic chance of three points out of the remaining games. They seem to blow either very hot or very cold.

Either way it's a shit situation avoidable by us being less shit over the season and buying fewer shit players and being more coherent, which should've been possible.

Very much agree. Mainly because it's at home.

We have already beaten them once too and done well since we've back in the PL against them. I had actually forgot we we're playing them at home.

Watched Harborough Town thump Loughborough Dynamo 6-0 this afternoon. Harborough have to settle for playoffs after a points deduction, today should have been champions and promotion.

But bizarrely after the game Dynamo announced they were ceasing as a non league club at this level and would be coming out of the non league pyramid to pretty much be a Sunday league team. Much to the dismay of their fans who had no idea.

Annoyingly that’s probably given Rushden and Diamonds a reprieve to stay in this league as they had got relegated today.
