To be fair, it was offside.

Coventry have spent an awful lot of money in the last two years or so, after being basically bust before. Robins is decent manager though.

Man U get to take first and in front of their own fans.
At least ITV and the FA got the result they wanted.

Was it? Are you sure the frame when the ball left his foot was the right one and it shouldn't have been one before when he was likely onside?

You have a lot of faith in the tech to be applied correctly.

Harry Maguire is such a miserable bastard, listening to him makes me want to drive myself off beachy head on a pushbike without a helmet.

When you put it that way, treating the offside lines as a matter of fact seems... unwise.

I'm just done with VAR now. The drawbacks for entertainment outweigh the benefits, I'd be happy if they just abandoned the whole thing... but of course that won't happen.

VAR has changed the rule. As it has with handball. VAR is shit

The notion that nobody involved with it's design, implementation and adoption, is aware of the existence of errors when making measurements, is completely laughable. The only interesting question is why they pretend otherwise, why they seek to avoid all forms or scrutiny, and why they continue to overrule or misinterpret their obviously flawed process.

I do not believe it's possible that they know less about it than me. So the only reasonable conclusion is that they are up to something.

Isn't the "something" that they know it's not perfect, but it's the best they can do, and they're getting paid for it, and it was requested, so.
