The Seamus Coleman stoppage time o.g. to lose them the game should probably be investigated for betting irregularities.

I was telling jp on Twatter that I was laughing so hard at the first impact that I didn't see the 2nd impact until I watched it again. And then I was still laughing so hard that I missed the ball hitting the first player again until the 3rd viewing.

I hope he's okay. JP that is, not the fool bystander with the idiot teammate*.

    * I have struck the ball into a teammate many times when trying to get a quick pass or dead ball off.

The City/Arsenal game is dull as paint drying.

Powers that be are going to be onto PGMOL to stir up something second half. The brand can't be having a game like this for a game like this.

They are going to need to get a referee out there for that. The competition winner in a black kit is less involved than the car park attendants.

Unfortunately the league's scriptwriters have written a farewell title for St Jurgen as this season's denouement, so this result is exactly what they want.

If there's a style of play that I would prefer to see rewarded with success, it's as definitely Liverpool's as it's not manshitty's.

I realize I’m opening the Ark of the Talkback Covenant here but could you elaborate?
I’ve barely watched either team other than against Forest, so I’m interested in your take on them.

In my view both press the ball high and early in a swarm. When they win it they are different. Manshitty defend with possession of the ball, attritioning openings. Liverpool go straight for goal like the fucking red arrows. If the opposition break the press manshitty leave more cover, and defend through the thirds. Liverpool leave themselves more open, and rely on recovery pace from a higher line.

That makes liverpool games more basketbally and more fun to watch. Played at a higher pace, with less precision and more risk to the ball.
