Is Spurs losing today (currently) good or bad if we need them to beat Leeds next week?
Is Spurs losing today (currently) good or bad if we need them to beat Leeds next week?
It’s bad.
They still want to be with a shout of Europa next week.
Chicago: Extrapolating permutations.
Have I missed something, won’t Spurs want to go all out to thump Leeds next week?
Only if they feel they can make a European place. If Brighton and Liverpool have them wrapped up then why would they give a shit?
Villa too are also a problem.
Chicago: hoping that spuds are not going to do something spursy
I dont think any team will roll over. They are all super competitive people.
I think, although am willing to be corrected, that if City win the CL and West Ham win the Europa Conference they will have places in those competitions next season in addition to the standard ones. Man U won the League Cup so that Conference place transfers to the league and City or United will win the FA Cup so that Europa League place transfers to the League, so if City win the CL then league places 2-5 will also qualify for the CL, 6th (probably Brighton) will get the Europa League, 7th will get the FA Cup Europa League spot, and 8th will get the Conference qualification.
The highest Spurs can finish is 6th (highly unlikely) and the lowest they can finish is 9th, so we're hoping for a Liverpool win over Villa today to give Spurs control over their European qualification on the final day.
Not loving the sound of Wolves v Everton.
How about now?
Greatly improved.
Everton are really not good. Wolves look like they give a shit every few minutes or so and just cut them open each time.
Calvert Lewin going off seems like good news as well.
9 fucking minutes of injury time. Just fuck off!
Chicago: Still nervous.
Fucking Everton twats
Last mother fucking second!
You fcuking useless wolves cunts!
Absolutely murderous!
Fuck fcuk fuck!!!!!
Chicago: upset.
Screw Everton and their point. Win tonight and we’ll be officially safe.
If Leeds win tomorrow then Leicester are down with defeat to Liverpool. Then the last relegation place comes down to Everton needing a better result than Leeds next weekend.
