I think the issue this weekend is more that they play Thursday/Sunday, so potentially have an increased risk of injuries due to the lack of recovery time.

You're not wrong, but it's still a legitimate concern that West Ham could hand some easy points out.

We've known they're likely to rest some players due to their European games for ages. Haven't we? It's certainly been talked about between my Forest friends for a while. They swapped a load out for the Brentford game.

"We" might have done, but it hadn't occurred to me.

City are toying with Real. A Champions League semi shouldn't be this one sided.

In this game of money man shitty are well ahead. It tends to spill over into the football.

They obviously have spent a vast amount of money, but so do other teams without being this good. De Bruyne and Haaland each cost a bit more than Anthony Gordon, and a bit less than Kai Havertz or Anthony Martial.

Have you taken into account wages, and all the other players?

Yes. I'm not arguing that City aren't spending earth shattering amounts. I'm saying that others are as well, to less effect.

After two and a half hours of football someone has finally scored in the Boro / Coventry tie.

I know entitlement is really not a good trait, and whatever transpires will do as the culmination of a whole season, but a Premierleagueship with one of Luton Vans or Coventricity (2023 editions) but no Forest just seems wrong.

Also true of Everton and Leeds, though. And will be the case for (at least) one of the three.

Maybe we should do away with promotion and relegation now that we're up here.

I'm all for verity as long as they are not:

    1) from Lancashire
    2) within a rectangle drawn with one line going south and one west from Watford (including Watford's ground).
    3) Leicester City

The money side of football is shitty, but you just have to enjoy the way Silva and De Bruyne combine, they are fabulous players to watch. As are the others in that team to be fair.

Wednesday 1-0 up after 8 minutes, and absolutely dominating Posh. It would be hilarious if they managed to come back.
