Unless someone gets injured, I tend to feel that the impact of extra time on teams is a bit overrated. We play a whole 24 hours later. I doubt it will make any difference to fitness levels.

Fatigue is definitely a factor as every manager since time immemorial has told us, and especially so in the case of a team like Brentford, who have a small squad to start with. And as tricky is fond of telling us, at Premier League level that 1% or 2% less consistency and energy makes all the difference, because it's that extra mistake which at this level as often as not gets punished.
