It'll be like a new signing
Newcastle accounts show loss of 73m for 22/23 and similar figure for previous year and 12m the year before (though that would include Covid losses).
Even with allowable add backs for Covid, academy etc they have to be close to the 105m allowable?
Maguire thinks they're fine.
What does that cunt know!? Hey? Hey?
The fucking oddjob.
Newcastle seem to be one of the only clubs who have released their accounts publicly ahead of the EPL P&S review at the weekend. It would be a strange thing to do if you thought you were about to be charged.
So us and who else on yhe FFP charge then? Kieran maguire seems to think Everton are more likely than us to be safe.
Seen Wolves mentioned today.
Might have gone under the radar but Burnley are at home to Luton tonight. Think the preference is draw, Burnley, Luton but either of the first two is fine, I think. Only Luton win is bad.
But most likely. Luton are an excellent side, given the constraints they operate under. Perhaps the most admirable. I enjoy watching them play....they are a handful.
I don't disagree, although I wonder if they might not have a slightly tougher second half to the season as squad depth is exposed through injuries and fatigue, and the rest of the league knows what to expect from how they play. I definitely won't begrudge them staying up though as long as it's not at our expense.
Only way I can accept them staying up is if it means Brentford go down. Or any B team.
Or Everton, for the Lolz. I mean, anyone really… but not us.
What Russ said.
Had to google to try and figure out why Burnley fans are booing the Luton keeper every time he touches the ball. Apparently he's ex-Blackburn.
Can't be arsed to check if we have a race to 12 points thread, but well done Burnley for getting to 12 points. One to go...
.. equally, congratulations to Luton for the late equaliser. Ideal.
Grimsby vs Notts looked like value for money.
