Confirmed Lockyer went into cardiac arrest. Ironic that a player who has spent most of his career dramatically hurling himself to the ground feigning injury should have his career ended by something so serious.
Everton win for me. We aren't competing with them. Look at their record and don't let the points deduction cloud judgement. Dyche has them as a high mid table/top half team.
Probably helps that they've got DCL and Beto, who are both capable of playing the number 9 role. They weren't all that flash last season when Calvert-Lewin was injured and they were playing Maupay.
I get the impression things aren't looking good for Tom at the moment.
Last time, he was posting pix from his hospital bed that day.
This time, there was just Luton's post the day after saying he was stable and they wouldn't be doing daily updates.
And stable just means not changing. My dad was in intensive care in a coma throughout September, and all the medics would say was he was stable.
Having had a quick scan of the media, I'd say Lockyer's medical condition is his own business and is being rightly kept that way to avoid speculation on his footballing future which he probably doesn't want. There may also be insurance issues which both player and club would want resolved and speculation wouldn't help that.
