At West Ham on Sunday they weren't allowed to take in water bottles more than 500ml (only with tops off even then) so kids were having their multi use sports bottles confiscated.
By half time they had run out of water at the bars so couldn't even buy it when you were inside.
Forest have started being more strict. On Saturday, pre-Bournemouth, they sent out an email saying only bags A4 or smaller would be allowed in. Really hate that. It's just because they are so shit at the turnstiles these days that they are doing it IMO. Many times I have, for example, got the train to Nottm at lunchtime and worked in a cafe before an evening game. What do I do now, as my laptop and bits won't fit in a bag that size. I get they don't want people taking in 50 litre rucksacks, but I think they're solving a problem that didn't exist. Other clubs do this and charge a crazy amount for a bag drop. Cost me £10 at Spurs to leave my modest backpack in a tiny tent with 2 teenagers in charge of 'security' around it. I'd just got off the train and was staying over the night.
It’s just a money making scam under the guise of ‘security’. A recent visit to the O2 and similar stupid policy, but you can leave bags for £10. And it stops as many people taking small drinks and snacks in so they can charge 5.50 for a Pepsi.
I managed to get a small tote bag in with a few snacks in for the kids but had to be insistent that it was happening (policy said you could have A4 size).
Let’s be honest, they didn’t seem too bothered about the security as thousands of people were all huddled together whilst waiting to get in. Or people packed into in the busy bars and restaurants.
Rumours Citeh have been found guilty of 95 charges and face a 50 point deduction next season.
But rumours around Citeh have been doing the rounds for three years.
It should relegate them. They would have needed 12 more points than they got this season. Hell of an ask with a new manager and, presumably, quite a few players who will look to leave. You'd think this would make Anderson think twice too - you're probably writing off two seasons of your career and going to have to play in the Championship in the year leading up to the Euros.
I wonder if they'd lose their CL spot? Probably not if the deduction was for next season.
