I really really hope they bring everyone on to chase the game.
They have been horrific so far.
McGinn being slightly injured I think is too much to ask for.
Nothing is ever easy.
Chicago: Feeling stroppy.
Villa: Can't run, can't kick.
No HT subs then? Ho hum.
Villa fans can be as angry as they like but Emery clearly doesn't give a fuck about this game
That 2nd and 3rd sub with 5 minutes left will change everything.
Villa woot in added added time.
Cunts.
Absolute. Fucking. Cunts.
Villa win on Thursday and Emery is a football genius.
For all the last team to go down with 39 points cobblers i'd be keener to know where teams in 36 points with 3 games to go end up.

Staying up, winning the second rate cup, and in the champions league.
Choo choo!
I'm unclear why we're surprised, and frankly annoyed, by this. Villa have put themselves in a position in the league where they can forfeit this game. It's our fault we've been shit this season.
If it was us cemented in fifth place, absolutely no fucks would be given about playing the second string in a home match against a side in the bottom three with nothing riding on it for us.
Stop being so logical.
I think there is reason to be surprised. Let's remind ourselves Spurs have won TWO GAMES since November and have a good 6-10 of their better players injured. They were playing against a team in 5th, who even with 5-6 changes, should have been too strong going on all recent and available evidence. If it's was so obvious you should have made some money , the bookies disagreed.

Look at it this way. If Villa had been up against, say, Everton, at home this afternoon, decided to rest a bunch of players, been utterly abject and lost - we'd likely all be seeing it as a positive for Forest ahead of Thursday.
You're irritated because it was Spurs. Aside from West Ham, any other Premier League side at Villa Park and nobody from a Forest persuasion would have been giving it this much thought.
Opta now have West Ham at 75%. If we match their points from their next two (Arsenal h, Newcastle a), in our next three, they almost certainly won’t be able to catch us on the last day. Good chance now we’ve already got enough to stay up.

Villa have been shite recently, as evidenced by the game v us if this is apparently the competition they're really pushing for.
