Interesting plot to throw in the young 2nd choice keeper for a big European QF. Ok Vicario's not great but it's almost like he wants a payoff.

But but but when we got rid of Ange it was universally condemned as ridiculous and far too soon to judge.
To be fair, getting rid of him was a less batshit stupid decision than appointing him in the first place. Low bar.
I see that totteningham decided to start their champions league game with me in sticks.
Bit harsh on yourself I'd say.
That’s the thing, the narrative with Ange is we couldn’t possibly get rid of him so soon, give him time etc. but with Tudor it’s get rid as he took his shit goalie off.
Ange was supposed to be a permanent appointment that it looked like Marinakis had had in mind since he was sacked by Spurs. Tudor was appointed to be a short-term fix until the end of the season and, having lost 4/4 (with Liverpool at the weekend), it clearly isn't going to work. The situations aren't the same.
The narrative would be the same if he was on an 18 month contract.
I’m no expert but they finished 17th last season, got in Frank (widely thought of as a good appointment and good manager) and have struggled again. He got sacked and they have got in a manager with a reputation for a quick fix of saving teams. And he’s going to get sacked too.
It’s almost like there is a bigger issue here.
Sorry, are you living in a reality where Spurs aren't being widely criticised and mocked? Marinakis should be grateful that they are taking some of the attention away from us. I doubt you could find one idiot who thinks that they'd be doing ok if only they could stop appointing the wrong managers.
There are reports that Tudor was appointed because he was recommended by the director of football who left in January. Sounds like the sort of stupid shit we'd do.
