The ref went to book Summerville for shirt pulling right at the end. It begat some face to face postulating which begat some shoving which begat a multi-player melee.
Walker-Peters got booked, but it looks like the ref forgot to book Summerville for the initial shirt pull.
Still, 120 minutes, another game and a suspension for Potts. That'll do, I guess.

Forget that - just seen it again. It was Walker-Peters with the shirt pull. The 2 on his back looked like a 7.

I'd say one of the worst decisions I've ever seen by the ref in Villa game there.

But nice of luiz to turn his back and deflect to allow the best fans in the world to celebrate an equaliser.

Isn't the lack of VAR fun* - Villa goal offside but given. Digne jumps, elbows the ball, lands still in the box - free kick outside the box.
Haven't seen the Marmoush thunderbastard that was suposedly incorrectly chalked off.

    *fun when it's other teams.

I also wonder whether the ref would've been asked to look at the monitor after only giving Digne a yellow for his awful tackle.
Or whether he would've booked him for the elbow ball had he not already carded him.

Has to be the officials wanting to demonstrate why VAR is good.

The Villa player never moves outside the box even after the handball so I would really love to hear the ref explanation for awarding a free kick 2 yards away rom the offence.

    "all refs are shit"

Doesn't matter if you stick 'em in a cupboard, or on grass. They're the lads who couldn't get a game.

So after their fans hoped to get ‘realistic targets’ Maresca, Frank and in recent days Dyche, Leicester appear to be going for Gary Rowett.

The best part of that was he was still annoyed in his post match interview and came out with similar to ‘Nottinghams not known for fashion’.

Well apart from one of the UKs biggest fashion designers in Paul Smith you utter bellend.

In their current situation that seems pretty sensible. Assume Derby background doesn’t matter to them?

He played for Leicester after playing for Derby, so probably no issue with him managing them as well.

We were about a month behind their timeline - our original points deduction was announced on 18th March and the appeal verdict on 7th May. So there's plenty of time. But, obviously, the time our appeal verdict was announced, we'd pulled pretty clear (despite the constant calls about how dangerous Luton were looking, while losing all their games). Doesn't look like that's going to happen for Leicester unless Rowett does well.

Of course fester have appealed. If they’d won the last two and were sitting pretty clear of the drop you can bet they wouldn’t have bothered tho.
