Liverpool are hateful and annoying but it's funny to watch Saudi FC implode.

That was one poorly managed second half. Shocker all round. And in fairness Liverpool played it brilliantly given that they seemed to have all lost their minds by halftime.
Always knew that Darwin Nunez was a good player.
That was deadly.
Wouldn’t like him attacking our running in treacle defence right now.
Wow Newcastle have fucked it.
Chicago: Darwinism at it’s best.
After 7 games, the promoted clubs collectively have 0 points, a GD of -16, and 4 goals scored.
And bookies still have Burnley as less likely to go down than us (oddschecker) it might turn out that way, but seems odd as things stand.

So that's twice in two games. Clearly they're not suitable for the Premier League, give them a 20 point deduction.
Times says he may face supplementary discipline for abusing the ref.
I'm bemused that the VVD tackle which was clearly both a foul and against the last man is getting so much debate today, including from Lineker. Whereas Worrall's which was just about a foul (leg tangling and mutual shirt/short grabbing) with a covering player was a "stonewall red", according to the same observers. This isn't just a VAR issue; it's a more systemic big club bias.

Is it? Or is it simply a fact of basic commercial reality, which is that the media audience of Liverpool is about a million times that of Forest, and that debating anything to do with LFC is vastly more marketable than a similar conversation about Forest regardless of the actual sporting merits of the conversation?
I will not stop being entertained by this story.
UEFA has rejected a request from the Spanish football federation (RFEF) to have itself suspended by European football's governing body.
I think this is missing the point, intentionally or not.
A separate survey, conducted by YouGov Sport for sports media company Unofficial Partner, found that more than 40 per cent of people who use illegal means to watch live sport cited the cost as their primary motivation. To follow all the league’s games would require access to Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon’s Prime Video, costing roughly £70 a month.
I've no doubt that this is true, but surely an even bigger factor is that even if you are unbothered by the cost there is no actual way if you live in the UK of watching football on a Saturday afternoon except by going to the game. I understand why the blackout exists and I broadly agree with the principle, but when Premier League matches at 3pm on a Saturday are available for viewing anywhere else in the world it is absolutely unavoidable that people are going to stream them.
Got to love a Wolves player going on strike:
Has he locked himself in a church yet?
Oly qualified for the Europa League.
Luton v West Ham this afternoon / evening. I hope West Ham smash them just so the whole idiot "Premier League players will struggle at a ground like Kenilworth Road" narrative can die on the vine. It's utterly stupid for multiple reasons.
