Arne Slot could quite conceivably be fired if this goes on much longer. He won the league with a team he inherited in a season when everyone else conspired to stink, and the more he puts his mark on the team the worse it gets.

I was talking to a GP the other day (off duty, not like you’d get an appointment to see one) and he was saying there are lots of doctors qualifying but no jobs for them. He said he doesn’t like the practice he’s in but cant find a job in another. It may be we have some doctors but not the money to pay them.

talking to Mus Snr this morning, he blamed it on a lot of Dr’s who work as GP’s working part time. I have no way of validating his claims.

More likely that because most GP's practices are now part of larger private healthcare companies the practices' minimise the costs with locum doctors (rather than the previous partnership of doctors). In the period since cotgraves practice has been bought by a larger group, all of the local doctors have disappeared from the practice. Also they look to minimise treatment costs. Fewer actual treatments, less money comes out of their budget and disappears down the black hole of actual patient care.
