Off to Altrincham tomorrow to watch Harborough Town in the FA Cup 4th qualifying round. Around 600 travelling, which is just about everyone given that the average home gate is about that.

    That was a bit mental.

Very much second best for the first hour and were 2 nil down. Couldn’t really have argued if 3 or 4. It was very much full v part timers.

Then Harborough made a quadruple substitution that unsettled them and they went for the time wasting approach rather than getting the third. A scrambled goal in the 87th minute made it game on and the equaliser on 90 +10 got the replay on Tuesday night.

    Absolute fucking scenes.

This is incorrect isn't it? We weren't even in attendance at the original hearing.

It seems a sensible solution, if we are going to rely on ridiculous legal facades we should give people time to set them up so lawyers aren't coining it in unnecessarily

Outstanding defending from Everton, three defenders all running towards the goal line deciding to leave Erling Haaland completely unmarked in the centre of the box. Postecoglu would have been proud.

They enjoyed it so much the first time, they did it again. Zonal marking systems have their place, but when you're playing against a gamewrecker like Haaland just fucking mark him.

Crazy afternoon at Ilkeston. Really niggly game. They (Warrington) scored first but it was clearly offside. Then their keeper took out our winger when he was clean through but only a yellow. Mass brawl towards the end but somehow only two Ilson players sent off and a coach from each team. Then the 9 men equalise and it's utter chaos. Child behind us was in tears. Then final whistle goes and it all kicks off again. One of the sent off players comes back with a hoody on and is livid, properly gone. What an afternoon.

Worth noting that the shaggers lost 1-0 at Oxford and were apparently lucky to get nil, their keeper was man of the match. The natives are getting very restless with Eustace, after a fairly busy summer they had expectations of competing for a playoff spot and they're fourth bottom.

Not at all, they're at the bottom of the Championship and their squad is worth less than half of our players are individually. I'm allowed to enjoy their failing and you're not taking that away from me.

We probably have three players worth more than their entire club.

Which, as well as being funny, speaks volumes about the structural problems in English football.

Clowes paid £55M for the club, so yeah. Anderson, Murillo and Morgan are collectively probably more valuable than any club in the Champ.

Harborough v Bromsgrove was also fairly eventful. Ref was an absolute fuckwit and the Harborough manager must have told him at half time and had to watch the second half from the stands.

Then Riley O’Sullivan came on (dropped after being sent off 7 mins into the FA Cup replay in the week) and scored a belter with his first touch.

Not long after he was clearly fouled in the box in which his boot came flying off but was instead to the bewilderment of everyone booked for diving, so incensed he picked his boot and threw it on the floor and the ref was delighted to show him a second yellow and he saw red again.

Harborough held on for the win and remain top much to the joy of the rowdy 100 plus Spanish Harborough fans who had flown over for the game and kindly provided free bottles of Estrella for the afternoon.

    This only costs £15.

Since when were Tottenham listed simply as "Spurs" in the BBC league table?

Interesting that when Liverpool get a head injury against ManU the referee plays on and lets United score.
