Villa had 76% possession. So congratulations to them.

Yam yam; yam yam.
Good that all three promoted teams have won already
I know it's mid-September before we play them but both Ødegaard and Saka have limped off for Arsenal today.
Those 2 plus the Spuds 2. Maybe it's worth stockpiling / not selling midfielders...
<strokes chin>
I don't mind if Ode plays, Saka not so much.
Unsure how the two handed push on defender for United goal is that different from the VAR given penalty to United in first half.
We do need United to be up in top 6 though I guess.
Ridiculous it wasn't ruled out.
They don't help the anti-conspiracy theorists when these really shit decisions always seem to go in favour of manure.
Hang on. I thought all refs were shit everywhere?
Definitively.
But manure do get more than their share of the top end laughably unjustifiable ones.
What cracks me up is that Bassey did manhandle the Utd attacker yet just behind him Luke Shaw did exactly the same thing to a Foolham defender all in the same phase. So Utd get the penalty and Utd get away with it. It should have just been ignored as the same thing.
And yes Yoro two handed pushed Bassey in the back for his header.
Everything is just rubbish.
Once again zero coverage of Forest on the U.S. analysis shows. Loads about Jack Grealish though.
I am Getting quite bored with the Premier League when Forest aren’t playing.
Looking forward to Europa though. I wonder if they will revisit the Anderlecht scandal?
Chicago: Living my Sunday dreams.

The United attacker ran in and hooked himself around the defender. The defender helped him on his way.. but it was very much a shared endeavour.
While we’re at it, the Arsenal penalty was a joke too. Textbook example of the ‘fouled’ player chucking his leg out to manufacture contact. It was so blatant even the commentator noticed.
Terrible wasn't it. Threw himself to the ground while kicking the back of the defenders ankle.
Bloke on the next table to us at breakfast this morning in Edinburgh bemoaning Rangers poor start to the season and that Russell Martin is crap.
Reasonable assessment. His solution was that they should push the boat out and Mourinho.

I could see that happening.
Based on nothing other than my idle (quite possibly wholly inaccurate) perceptions, old /average / just-finished-playing-big-name-first-management-gig managers seem to go there and win stuff (because Scotchland fitba) and perpetuate an ongoing delusion of relevance / competency.
