Botofogo game against Palmerias was incredibly dull. If that is the best of Brazil gawd help us.

    Anyway Jesus looked alright.

    Chicago: A bit bored.

Looks like we might get some Palace news in the next few days:

    www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/uefa-decision-crystal-palace-europa-league-delayed-b1235274.html

Surely they can't take a decision on the basis that:

    • Textor is going to sell his Palace shares (but it's a long way from being done)

    • The French FA may or may not remove Lyon's Europa League place.

As in, if they're making a decision, they've got to presume the current situation prevails.

Honesty, I'm pretty optimistic they're going to get chucked out.

I think that by the rules they should be kicked out.

But in reality I don't think they will, and on a fan level don't really think they should just because they didn't go through the blind trust charade.

Dead Legs watch - 2 goals in Bayern's 4-2 win. Both goals came from high line pressure turn overs (not by him). 2 decent finishes (1 slightly deflected).
    Pretty anonymous otherwise.
Yes, I know, 2 goals, but...

That seems odd, because Lyon haven't even had their Europa league place removed as part of the relegation have they?

The report I saw implied they’d give it up.

Ah yes, that's a new bit of knowledge:

    www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13390463/crystal-palace-in-europa-league-uefa-postpones-decision-on-eagles-involvement-after-lyons-relegation-to-ligue-2

    Quoted message:

"This postponement relates to Olympique Lyonnais' compliance with the settlement agreement concluded with the CFCB first chamber for its breach of the financial sustainability requirements.

"As part of this settlement, Olympique Lyonnais agreed on an exclusion from the 2025/26 UEFA club competitions should the French authority (DNCG) confirm the club's relegation to Ligue 2.

Why would they do this? What are they getting in return for giving up their European place if their relegation is confirmed?

I think it is the PSR deadline today. Looks like no-one is in trouble. Rumours of Villa selling their women's football team to themselves to get out of it. Boo!

No bargains for us by the look of it.,

    Chicago: Bargain hunter.

He wasn’t charged years ago when this was rumoured to be case so he probably thought he was in the clear. Anyway, the wheels of justice turn slowly but hopefully successfully if indeed he did do them.

Expect him to be Saudi Arabia if he is granted bail and is a wrong ‘un.

Chicago: Not a fan of Partey time.
