Where is he on the Marco Pascolo scale though?

Watch a Club World Cup game? Why would anyone want to do that?
Insomnia, coupled with a love of over baked mismatched football designed to undermine national competitions?
Our Botofogo boys certainly seem to be able to head the ball. I hope that doesn't turn us into Wimbledon in the future.
The transfer window is strangely officially open now so maybe we will see some movement. Or not..
I predict that John Textor will get bored of us after selling us five Brazilians and we get to keep Danilo and insist on making sure Matt Turner has left.
Chicago: Probably posting on the wrong thread again.
First Drogheda, then Palace?

22,000 attendance to watch Chelsea beat Los Angeles. Stadium capacity 71,000.
Die tournament, die.
Tbf it's the middle of the day on Monday, people in LA have jobs.
Plus ICE probably has a mandate to detain and deport anyone going to an unamerican football game.

It's not the time. It's the competition.
No one is trying to claim the CWC is comparable in scale or interest to the actual World Cup. But it is the middle of the working day in LA, so it's not hugely surprising that it's not full.
61,000 for Al Ahly v Miami
46,000 for Palmeiras v Porto (higher than either team averages at home)
80,000 for PSG v Atletico
I realise it's fun to shit all over the competition, but it's actually quite entertaining football so far.
The game was played in Atlanta too, 2000 miles or so from LA.
Good catch, I had assumed it was at SoFi given Seattle got home field yesterday. Even more reason then why the attendance would be low, people in Atlanta were also at work and have the added factor of not being LAFC fans.
and there's the issue. Nobody is going to get excited about watching LAFC other than LAFC fans. There isn't an American audience for them, never mind a global one.
Yet.
Don't worry, once the marketing kicks in everything will be fine.
Brand this fucker up. Get Messi playing. What do you mean he doesn't play for a team that qualifies? Qualify them.
Not. Meritocratic. Competitive. Football.
Just exhibition stuff designed to give the petrostates influence and continue to ruin the pyramid by pricing out competition.
