Or something between the two
Or something between the two
Just seen that it was Omobamidele giving away a penalty that moved Strasbourg out of the Europa league and Lyon into it.
I read somewhere (vaguely reputable I think though I don't remember where) that the letter said we would be very concerned about two teams with same ownership playing in the same competition and felt it would damage the integrity of the competition.
Were we sniggering as we typed it?
Thats how I imagine it!
That must have been worth a bit more than an FA Cup winning Matt Turner.
No way of telling how genuine this is, but I have seen a social meejah post from 9 pm last night from a guy who says he used to work for Forest:
“Forest have asked UEFA to clarify the rules as they look to solidify their longer-term ownership and board make-up.
Forest want to avoid using blind trusts and other workarounds if possible and have asked for clarity. They have not mentioned Palace, nor have the asked to take their place in the Europa League.
Lots of sensationalism about, essentially, nothing.”.
Kind of supports my instinct above, FWIW
See that Leo Di Caprio social meeja meme, from Django Unchained .....
That's Marinakis on his laptop, that is.
Article by Matt Lawton in the times about Textor and Botafogo, with a mention of Forest transfers.
Poor Palace.
Probably the worst owner in all of US sports.
How come?
He's allegedly a paedo.

It's a long list, but apart from being an odious Trump fluffer he is incapable of not meddling in the running of the team. His 25 years of owning the Jets have been an almost unparalleled time of failure and disaster; in a league built on parity, the Jets have finished 1st in their 4 team division exactly once. Last season it came out that he was allowing his 17 year old son to make roster decisions. You almost couldn't be this bad at running a team if you tried to.

It would be hard, ahem, not to call your male offspring Richard, in such circumstances.
