Don't be daft. It was never 'firmly in our grasp'. The season is over 38 games, not 30. Our squad is tired and patched-up - it's astonishing we're still in with a shout going into the final four matches.

Because I am a child, I would have been much happier this season if we'd meandered around mid table all year then surged to 7th place in the last few weeks of the season. It would have felt much better than falling to 7th place having been 3rd much of the year.

Hard to see three wins without a draw failing, as that would take every result to go against us but obviously beating Chelsea ourselves would be a massive swing in our favour - if we win that one, there's a good chance that beating leicester and getting a draw from one of the away games could do it.

Europa/CL qualification through European competition doesn't add a place, so Chelsea winning the conference makes no difference.

Three more points guarantees some form of European football. And that's Europa if city win the cup.
