Ah. Muff take the lead. Less good.

    Bit pissed Loaf?

VAR looks at endless angles of Muff's second goal. They eventually find one that makes it look like the ball comes off Evanilson's elbow. Despite that the goal is immediately given.

Would be something if Arsenal finished 3rd in a 2 horse race.

Newcastle have two penalties overturned by VAR. Always been a big fan.

Liverpool have half a reserve team out v Chelsea. Obviously their reserves are no mugs, but still.

If Brighton are that desperate to give away a penalty, there's not much I can do about it.

    Fuck's sake, Liverpoo.

We've totally fucked this Forest. If we'd beaten either Everton or Brentford at home I'd still be relatively optimistic (as much as I get), but we're done now. Especially as we're likely to lose to Palace.

Totally fucked what exactly? We must be at least six or seven places further up the league than we could rightfully have expected to be this season. Our squad has massively overachieved, which is fantastic - clubs our size need to find a way to build a team which is greater than the sum of its parts. And we have done.

What you're seeing now is a tired group of players limping towards the finish line. They've let absolutely nobody down. Don't underestimate the advantage of larger squads with, crucially, experience of closing out the business end of the season at the top end.

Don't be too disappointed if the Champions League places go to better financed clubs - or more creatively-financed in Chelsea's case - and don't hold it against this Forest squad. It's still been a hell of a season.
