Chelsea level.
Chelsea level.
Fuck off Dipswich.
Cunt sticks!
Chicago: Sad.
Gonna stick my neck out and say leicester definitely won't double their points in the last 6 games. Guru will disapprove of this presumption.
At least the Tractor wankers held on against the Chelsea Tractor wankers in the Tractor wanker derby.
Annoying Chelsea got something after being 2 down, but we’d have took the draw before.
In water is wet news Man Ure are still wank.
Good to see Manyoo are as shit as ever.
Spam Utd remind me of us in the first season back. Just total calamities from the back. Maybe we could sell them Matt Turner.
The Geordies are looking ominous. I am guessing Villa and Chelsea are the two we need to keep an eye on as Citeh (who coincidentally have Everton next week) and the Barcodes look to have enough to make champions League.
Just got to hope Totteringham don’t sack Ange if he cocks up Thursday.
Chicago: Pragmatic.
Agree. I think its between Villa, Chelsea and us
In Opta prediction, we’ve gone down from 3rd to 5th although actual percentage hasn’t gone down much (may 3-5%)
More that Newcastle and City are clicking into gear and they have gone up.
We clearly have the weakest squad of the top 7. (And that couldn’t have been fixed in January, regardless.) If we finish 5th, it’ll be an incredible achievement. Even 6th would be a huge overachievement.
Like 7th would only be disappointing because of where we are.
I still think top 4 is on. We'll be better next time.
Here are the remaining fixtures for the other CL contenders:
Chelsea: FUL (A); EVE (H); LIV (H); NEW (A); MUN (H); NFO (A)
Man City: EVE (A); AVL (H); WOL (H); SOU (A); BOU (H); FUL (A)
Aston Villa: NEW (H); MCI (A); FUL (H); BOU (A); TOT (H); MUN (A)
Newcastle: CRY (H); AVL (A); IPS (H); BHA (A); CHE (H); ARS (A); EVE (H)
I'll be a massive Everton fan and Fulham fan until the end of the season, as they both play 3 of the 4 clubs in contention. Let's hope Everton can duplicate yesterday's performance several times. As we sadly know, Fulham can be a difficult proposition also. Both Everton and Fulham fixtures are potential banana skins for all of these clubs.
Looking at Chelsea's slate, their easiest game remaining is Man United on Matchday 37. I much prefer our remaining fixtures to theirs, we're 3 points clear of them and we play them on the final day at home. We have a very strong chance to finish above them.
As for Villa, tough stretch in their next four games. We're also 3 points clear of them (almost 4 considering our goal difference). If they can catch us, this means that some of the other contenders will slip.
Newcastle has the toughest schedule remaining, so they'll definitely drop some points before the end of the season. The Villa argument applies to them as well. If they can catch us, this also means that some of the other contenders will slip.
As for Man City, they do have Southampton and Wolves as easy wins. As for the rest of the schedule, they'll also drop some points along the way. I still think they'll be able to nail down 3rd place.
To wrap this up, we only need 2 of these teams to finish below us to qualify for the CL. I reckon Chelsea will be one of them and that Villa and/or Newcastle will find a way to finish below us.
Plenty of nailbiting remaining for us in the next 6 weeks though.
Not so sure about that. I think they've been in decent form of late and City aren't great.
I hope you're right !
