Only just noticed Kyle Walker too. That's the one shipped out of City for no longer being good enough?

Would like to be able to justify it by pointing out Tuchel's only got an 18 month contract. But Walker and Henderson are finished at the top level today, there's no chance they are going to be factors in a world cup in 2026.
The Deutsche FA, or whatever they are called, must be pissing themselves laughing.
Tuchel's Chris Powell / Gavin McCann out of nowhere wildcard, innit.
Just wait for MGW to be out of the squad tomorrow and Nuno to reveal afterwards he's done for the season.
Will be a different squad for the June games, and I imagine he'll be strongly advised to pick one or two Foresters for that one.
Whilst I feel for MGW, having watched Bayern under Tuchel for about 18 months I'm kind of glad he isn't getting hold of any of our players.

You what?
'Henderson embodies everything we want' - reaction as Tuchel names first England squad
I can't recall an England squad announcement I've been as angry about since Woan was left out of Euro 96.

Paul Gascoigne is sad.

Was there a parallel universe in which Ian Woan was ever in contention for an England place? I mean, I thought he was great for us but don’t recall ever considering him as an international….
Didn't Venables play 3 at the back with wing backs in 96? Not sure Woany's legendary workrate ever really lent itself to playing that role.

I thought I might try to bring it back. Thoughts?

Yep.
The squad suggests Tuchel is going down that route as well - potentially 3-4-3 which probably doesn't suit MGW. Although CHO is very hard done by.
I don't remember Woan ever being in contention for England. Think that might have been a Jim thing.
My son reckons the U21s would hammer the senior squad if they played them.
I'm sure the boys will be annoyed but at this stage of the season I'm not unhappy about two of our most important players having a weekend of rest.
