Main problems with Nunez are that he's a twat and can't score goals. Bar those issues, I agree, let's get him in for £50m pronto.

He can score when he has opportunities.

he is well liked at the scouse

Yes yes. I already told you that. Sometimes he is amazing other times he is Franz Carr. It's as if you didn't read what I wrote for the 1000th time. Weirdo.

Also Stanley missed an absolute howler against QPR if I recall. Probably one of the best misses ever and I am pretty sure we didn't call him shit...

Either way, opinions...everyone has them... You are just mental.

    Chicago: Statto man.

Says the man wanting to sign Nunez. I'll bet you $10 right now he moves abroad after Liverpool. Nobody in the Prem is going to pay the money that Liverpool will want for a sub-standard striker with an attitude problem.

He's one of those mental strikers, and he's clearly struggling with Big Club issues and he really does miss some sitters. But he still scores lots, including very special goals.

And if the Prem won't pay the silly money, you think he'll go to Saudi? Because "overseas" is a typically hedging way of phrasing it. So a lot will depend on him, and I'm not sure he's a busted flush. Footballers are a funny breed, and strikers moreso, almost as much as goalies.

Pass. Italy maybe. Or Spain. Or the USA. Or yes, Saudi. Outside chance of Turkey or Greece. I really doubt it'll be England.

I see Real Madrid had a dodgy penalty shootout decision go their way. I am not sure Alvarez used two feet when he slipped and scored. I only saw a couple of replays of it but it certainly wasn't conclusive. Very harsh on Athletico.

Shocker that the champions get the rub of the green again.

    Chicago: Dubious.

    As I was saying...

I don't even think his ankle touched the ball. I think it was bollocks. I have looked at it numerous times. I think it is just an excuse for Real to make it through again.

They play the forwardless Arse next. What can go wrong?

From the second angle it looks like it flicks off the toe of his left boot after he kicks with his right.

Yep, that's exactly what the pundit is saying in the link above - and they're right. If that doesn't happen the ball conceivably goes a few feet lower than where it eventually passes the keeper.

Ah, I watched it without sound.
