Havertz has got such an extraordinary array of talents that he still feels like a bit of a let-down.

Yes, and compared to Marcus Rashford he's even a let-down by this metric.

ah my guy Kai. Liked him at leverkusen. Didn't like him at Chelsea as they had no idea where to play him and he has been a bit of a hit for Arsenal once he got going. Yes his miss was on Taiwo proportions but his actual goal was very good. He is a very good player and works well with Arsenal unfortunately.

Players have howlers. Forest's greatest ever Stan Collymore missed a couple of absolutely baked on sitters. It happens. He is not our player so not sure why everyone gets so mad about him.

I would have him in the Forest line up because he works his nuts off for the team and has generally a very good skill set. He costs way too much for that to happen but I digress. Like Rashford too but I am not sure what happened to the young man for him to fall off a cliff. Hopefully he isn't in raging good form when we have to play Villa in the spring.

    Chicago: Thumbs up.

Yes. That Graham Potter being a good manager. I hope they can see it through because that really would be the best weekend we could have.

I have a few minutes (away from arguing ) to see if they can do it.

Chicago: looking to tame the rage.

Bowen blatantly fouled and then Chelsea equalize because of it.

VAR not even looking at it. What a load of tripe....

checking for offside instead. Should be.... but apparently the mop haired twat for chelsea wasn't when he passed the ball back. (he was...)

    Chicago: aggrieved

He wasn't when the ball was played to him though, and that's how offside works.

    Chelsea now winning.

Olympiacos v Panathinaikos is called the Derby of the Eternal Enemies, which is pretty awesome, tbqh.

Anyway, Carmo played, Stamenic didn't* and Footwear's Biancone came off the bench.

*Injured ankle, apparently, but he doesn't get a lot of time anyway

Had a £5 accumulator come in this evening. Second time in a week. £60 last time, £40 this time (I cashed out both times).

2 more penalties for dead legs tonight. The 2nd was a definite trip. The first - the only way Bayern looked like breaking Werder Bremen down - was from a close range deflection from attacker to defender's arm. No way that would be awarded in the Premiershipleague. On another thread there has been mention of England's new manager. Watching Bayern tonight was reminiscent of Tuchelball at it's worst. One of the biggest sticks use to hit Southgate was that he was a defensive manager wasting a generational swathe of attacking talent. I can't help but think Tuchel's 'pragmatism' will make Southgate's approach look positively gung-ho.

Something like 29 scored in a row now.
Say what you like about Sir Harry (and I’ve said a lot), he’s pretty good from 12 yards, when defenders aren’t allowed within 10 yards of him.

Percy says that Derby will attempt to prise John Eustace away from Blackburn, which would obviously cost them some money. They seem to be committing a fair chuck of the Cashin fee to replacing Warne.

Why in the name of merry fuck would John Eustace want to to do that?

They can't possibly offer him that much of an improved financial incentive (assuming he'd be swayed by such) surely?

Because he apparently hates the Venkys, as everyone who works for them seems to, and wants out.
