Had Man U got done on an 89th minute counter from their own corner these potatoes I'm peeling might've got launched at the TV.

My first thought was that there might be some VAR intervention. Classic case of playing the man - his eyes weren't on the ball once.
Rodney you plonker.
Exactly. Shoulder charge is shoulder to shoulder, strength wins out. That was shoulder to face, with intention to hurt.
That was a terrific game. Win tomorrow and we're 6 points off top, albeit having played a game more, with the Scouse bastards coming to the WFCG next.
Had £3 on a Man Utd win at 7/1. I was not happy at Maguire skying that chance in the 96th minute.

How can I shoulder barge you without looking where you are?
I'm going in with my shoulder. Your move.
Sounds to me like you have a pre-conceived idea to challenge with your shoulder when the situation doesn’t call for it. Foul.
Daniel Sturridge is no pundit

It was a really shit pass from Zirkzee, who may also have been offside.
Was offside. It would have been ruled out. It was one of those totally unnecessary phases of play that just wasted time.

Yep. Absolutely nothing wrong with a shoulder barge when two players are contesting the ball. Nunez wasn't interested in challenging for the ball - he deliberately played the man. Foul all day long.
Right so what you are saying is that if someone is stood where the ball is going, or where you want to be, you just have to let them be there?

I think you may be being deliberately facetious or need to watch the incident back again.
This was Pat Nevin's take on the Five Live co-commentary: “Definite yellow for Darwin Nunez. To be honest, I think Nunez is staggeringly fortunate there. That’s absolutely horrible, straight in on the player, not looking at the ball. Matthijs de Ligt saved him by getting up so quickly.”
Cobblers. For a start he looks at the ball, can see he wants to receive it where the defender is, so clears him out with a strong shoulder. He hasn't led with any extremity, hasn't kicked the man, hasn't grabbed or held.
The defender has to be stronger there. Don't think we should be rewarding players who are weaker and fall over easier.
Are you saying that if someone is standing where you want to be you can run at then as long as you don't lead with an extremity?
