I just realised that Djed Spence is playing for the Spuds. His languid style gave it away. Might be interesting on Wednesday.
Chicago: Talent spotter.
Spurs are a distant second best so far.
That's a really nice finish by Maddison.
Spurs definitely aren’t anything to be scared of. Obviously some decent players but nothing our defence can’t handle and their back five can be got at.
From a slightly more optimistic perspective, they've done us a favour.
How so?
They were playing Chelsea. Are we catching them? Or is it because they are pulling away from fester and wolves?
Anyway, spuds cannot handle the long ball. Murillo to have a field day on Wednesday?
Chicago: Full of questions.
I hope it's still Forster in goal on Thursday.
Vicario is out for months but next in line, Austin, is 25, so you’d think Postecoglu must be thinking about playing him.
Beyond hilarious that the Spuds fans were protesting lack of success outside the stadium before the game. It’s not as if they are in a relegation battle. Everyone is mental. No doubt our fans will lose it if we start to slip (which of course will happen over the years…).
Chicago: Not particularly Entitled.
I find John Murray increasingly difficult to listen to on Five Live. Descriptive side of his commentary is excellent but he gets so over-excited at mundane passages of play, that he leaves his voice with nowhere to go when a goal is scored.
You should be able to describe the award of a corner without sounding momentarily orgasmic.
Yes. Exactly that. This is the optimistic viewpoint.
Johnson assists with a header.
This game is bonkers.
Spuds are poo but they do score goals and solanke does love the onion bag against us. 3-5 now.
Chicago: Whiplashed.
Matt Holland, who I normally quite like, just called this the best game in the Premier League this season.
No it isn't Matt. It has a lot of goals but it hasn't actually been competitive or interesting at all.
3-6. Do keep up.
