Leeds 2 Derby 0 after 80 minutes. Derby fans chanting "we've had a shot!"
Palace already a goal up at home to City.
Brentford v Newcastle is great fun. Both sides are really good in possession, and defensively a little fragile.
1-1 now. City have conceded more goals in the opening 15 minutes than any other team in the Premier League.
Shitty's current problems stem from the fact that they are not actually all that good at the moment. I'm not sure that wearing a stupid kit is the answer to that.
2-1 Palace
Watching this confirms how bad we were the other night actually. A bit of positivity on our part and things might’ve been quite different. City look wank.
Watching MOTD, I think it's time we had interviews with referees after the game. They don't need time to put their story together.
Years ago I thought that seeing as American Football coaches had a challenge flag they could throw once a game for a review how about football managers could request 1 decision to be explained post match by the ref. Wouldn't take long. Put the ref on camera and explain what he and his assistants saw. No questions. Of course that ship has well and truly sailed now with VAR. Imagine a ref doing a piece to camera trying to explain 1 contentious decision per side without saying 'I bottled giving a decision hoping that VAR would bail me out, but those cunts are even more useless than I am'.
One decision? That wouldn't scratch the surface with most of them. Personally I'm not in favour of giving the reality averse law manipulators any more platform to spread their contrary explanations and lies any more than they already have. Not unless babelfish is on the case anyway. Like a truth signer, righting their immediate wrongs.
I am going back many, many years with this flight of fancy - long before multi-cameras, endless replays, social media etc...
The days when we had to take Jimmy Hill's and Brian Moore's word for stuff. Plus I always wanted Roger Milford to be put on the spot to have to explain why he didn't send Gazza off in the 91 cup final.
"Throw a flag"? What sort of wanky sport is this you're talking about? Each manager should be allowed to throw a punch at the referee, two if it's Anthony Taylor.
Finally a bona fide reason for sacking Cooper - there's no way he punches harder than Nuno.
Dan Ashworth has left Man Ure a few months after joining from Newcastle as Sporting Director.
Thought they were supposed to be sorting out the off pitch stuff. Ho-hum.
We’ve rattled them.
