It does although they're already as good as down and they can help us while ushering in St Ramsbottom, so it's the least dirty it could be.

All results except Wolves v Brentford have gone our way today.

    HAPPY ST. RAMSBOTTOM DAY!

Talking of which I see HMS Pissleague1 were held at home by Shrewsbury today, although they appear to be 2nd in the table. Last time I glanced they were 6th or 7th. Have they had a good run I missed or has everyone else been rubbish?

    Actually, who cares?

Luton supporters must be gutted after that. Terrific run of results and then go and lose to the weakest side in the division (by some distance) at home. Golden opportunity to move away from the bottom three and hammer another nail into a relegation rival's coffin.

    It was wonderfully 'Forest'.

I see that old deadlegs went missing in the "crunch" top of the table big game clash in the bundesliga, to leave the Bayern Tractor on course to win nothing for the first time in 12 seasons - despite his personal numbers remaining outstanding.

Blimey. Who could possibly have predicted that?

I just think normal Marinakis service is in play now. Cooper survived because of fan support. Nuno doesn't have that. 4 games without a win (1 draw) could easily become 7 or 8 without a win or even another draw.

West Ham, Villa, Liverpool, Brighton is that the next 4?

Other factors probably come into play....like how closely tied Niuno is to prime Mendes merchandise, rather than second rate offerings. Which also needs to be balanced against the division we are likely to be in next, our ability to shop, and the tensions applied by those.

He gave managers before Cooper plenty of time.

I don't really remember, but did he when things went bad? Houghton and the one before that both went on back of 6-7 games without a win is my hazy memory?

There will be some perceived slight at some point about the quality of Mendes' recommendations, much like the other 'recruitment consultants' who have been and gone since we got promoted. If Nuno is looking for job security based on Mendes, he's looking in the wrong place.

    Permanent managers:
Warburton lasted from May 2017 (when Marinakis bought the club) until December 2017 - 7 months.
    Karanka lasted a year.
    MON lasted 5 months.
    Lamouchi lasted 16 months.
    Hughton lasted 11 months.
    Then SSC.
