So there's a crucial penalty at the death to give France the win but tv doesn't show a replay of the offence. Rugby remains strange.

French tv directors have always been the oddest of creatures. Only show replays when there’s a chance of influencing the ref in their team’s favour.
The advantage rule is strange as well. I wound it back and the offence was at 76:45. England didn't kick off until 79:25. So that's nearly 3 minutes of wasted game time.
It's not odd at all it's blatant cheating but they have always been allowed to control and influence the ref.
No arms tackle by a man who's no longer on the pitch. Odd decision.
That's my biggest issue - the rules are so technical, that the referees have a massive impact on the result.
It was Earl, he just got the number wrong. Smashed his shoulder into the guys knee. I'm guessing that particular form of violence is frowned upon?
As they said after very harsh call, especially at that stage of the game to decide it.
And the time the ref took wandering around finding the right spot was also a joke.
Yes. I think he was technically right but most times that wouldn’t be given.
Also Ireland seemed to play Zombie after they won, which seems an odd choice.
Started in Munster then became national team victory song. Lots of controversy over there about it. But I don't think most people actually notice the lyrics they are singing.
Odd choice, but not at the level of US ‘patriots’ belting out Springsteen.
