1m55 here. The referee told him that Jackson needed to calm down and Emery decided that wasn't possible.
Didn't he drag a player down before the Mattsen challenge?
I was watching between clients and there were a couple of late tackles.
Chicago: Coming off a high.
Otherwise, great write up
It's far from unheard of for a ref to tell a manager that a player is going to get sent off if he keeps playing the way he is, and suggest that he sub him before that happens.
Agreed, though I've presumed it doesn't happen much at PL level. It always felt more like something in kids football (where it used to piss me off).
Recall a local cup final aged 12 or so and opposition player was fucking mental. Doing awful challenge after awful challenge. The referee asked the manager to sub him or he'd send him off. We lost the final 1-0. Pretty sure we'd have won against ten men. Not that I'm still bitter.
Match Day Glas.
Looking back on the highlights. You would see that Munoz lost McGinn not Ola. So suck it Mummy's boy!
Chicago: Sticking with my MOM.
