I didn't really recognize mine either, apparently the Stereophonics were in my top 5 artists this year. I maybe listened to them twice.

Will you lot just settle down, and relax while you are being re-programmed.

Perhaps listen to some nice music you've never heard of before, but is a personal favourite?

I've spent most of the year listening to dance and punk. I've discovered more new music, and seen more live music, than ever before. It's been awesome.

I have almost 400,000 songs in my play list now. I mainly listen to punk, rock, Folk, Dance, blues and Motown. Doesn't mean I am not open to listening to all types of music apart from twanky country and Jazz (because I am not on heroin).

Spotify although evil does have it's benefits. I do listen to a lot more music than I used to. Wrapped is nonsense though, because it doesn't seem to connect with what I actually like. Oh well. It's fun for about five seconds. AI will of course kill us all and this is the closest I get to using it much as I am generally not on social media or Open AI or whatever else that shit is on. Yes, I am fully aware I am typing on a computer right now which has stuff in it that it can use and I am fooked like everyone else. I try to use it less, unless I am listening to music randomly and then I know what is probably picking it. Bugger.

    Chicago. Soon to be enslaved.

I hadn't heard of them, but looked them up as I generally like some of your recommendations.

    WTF?

Good question. Don't really like them. The weather is miserable and I feel like I've got something shit coming on. Time for irresponsible use of pharmaceuticals methinks.

Power metal history lessons calls for swilling large amounts of beer. I could see speed playing a fun role as well.

In this case I agree with you. Power metal is largely formulaic, plodding, overly self important and annoyingly theatrical. And I say that as a long time Iron Maiden fan.
