Have 2 tickets for Muse at O2 Sun 1 Oct if anyone interested. I'm going on the Monday now as Forest game got moved to Sunday which made logistics awkward.

They should play WFCG like all the other 00s musical live act behemoths whose commercial success of yore is now fading.

I thought RHCP did at one point but I'm probably wrong.

EDIT: I am wrong. Apparently they played a few really shit div 2 / 3 stadiums instead including Ipswidge, Coventricity, Reading Ladies and our Wooly chums.

It was. And I say that as someone who loves them very much indeed.

Interestingly, or not, my then gf cried off REM as she was tired, so I asked a colleague from work if she wanted to come.
Ended it with my gf four days later and been married to the colleague 15 years now.

I recall the Post's review of that which included some fella yelling 'Gerronweeit' in East Midlands drawl and at full volume when Michael Stipe got political between songs.

Mrs BW got us tickets for the Cardiff leg of that tour for my 25th birthday.
