Just boarded the plane from Luton to Lisbon. Roughly 50% Forest fans.

The flight from Stansted to Lisbon was like being on the 141 in Blidworth.
Train from Lisbon to Braga. Got a first class ticket as it was only £10 more. Seems like lots of Forest fans thought the same. The train goes via Porto so I expect they'll be a load more join the train there.
Train is great fun. Like a Forest pub. Bar keeps running out of beer (then restocking at each stop).
Bumped into Jim whilst walking around Braga.
How ever did you spot him?
Was it the big telly I imagine him to always be carrying around, like the girl with heart in that Roger Sanchez video?
Journey back yesterday went fine but jeez took a long time. Boarded a train at 10am in Braga, 4.5 hours down to Lisbon, killed an hour in Lisbon (bar) then went to the airport. Flew to Luton. 4 trains and one hour standing at East Mid Parkway waiting for a connection, then a taxi from Sheffield station, and I finally got back at 1am.
The mate I was with is flying to Germany tomorrow morning for work and was not a happy bunny at the prospect.
Had a nice drink and chat with @KarlMark, @Andyp and @JRs_Cigarette at about 11pm in a Braga brewery after the game before catching up with my crew and joining a Portuguese pub quiz which bizarrely started at 1am around the corner. We did not do well.
Our journey back yesterday really dragged, and we only flew from Porto. I enjoyed the trip up from Lisbon on Wednesday but i think I may have cried having to do the reverse on the train again (not helped by a super superbock hangover).
The game was shit, but so so chuffed that I got to travel abroad again after 30 years, and this time with my son and some other good mates.
It's ridiculous that they didnt give us more tickets. We blagged 4 of our 5 via a contact at the club. Half empty football grounds when there is demand is crazy.
For once we had a decent trip home, got a Bolt from Braga Holiday Inn to Porto airport at 10am and walked through the door at home at 415pm (despite the pilot aborting the first go at landing at Gatwick about 100m from the ground).
Saw MGW partner Britney, eldest son and who I assume was his brother in the airport, though not on our flight.
Now in Fort Lauderdale (arrived Miami yesterday and was in South Beach last night).
Not been here before. Not been shot yet which is nice.
Little Miss Shady woke at 3am and wanted me to go to the loo with her as she's scared of the fan that comes on. I was just about asleep again at 3:30am when she shouted and told me she'd dreamt that her grandpa (who was asleep upstairs) was going to kidnap her. Settled her down, then I couldn't get back to sleep and was awake when the alarm went off at 4:40. Now on the 05:30 - 07:37 Sheffield to London train. Feel a bit ropey from lack of sleep + I've got a cold. Going to take some pills and a strong coffee when I arrive in London and try to get through the mildly important 9am meeting before monging at my desk for the rest of the day. Train back North at 3pm. Might get a beer in for that in the hope it helps me get some sleep on the return journey. Happy I'm not going to the game tomorrow now tbh. Evening on the sofa vastly preferable than going to Nottingham and back for a pretty pointless game.
PVD - Detroit - East Lansing this morning for a college visit for Sonorità Mus, just landed in Detroit where it’s a balmy -17c.
The tour this afternoon includes an hour outside with forecasted temperatures of -20, if she still wants to go to College here after this trip, I can count on 1 finger the number of visits Senora Mus will make in the next 4 years
Not a fan of motown?
Maybe he hates his kid.
Is that a Marvin Gaye reference? Dark
Yeah Ingo, what's goin' on?
Bad news for Senora Mus, is that Señorita Mus really likes MSU so far (it also helps they are giving her a significant scholarship, which helps from my perspective) - as the cost of college over here is astronomical…. Now to see if Senora Mus’s enjoyment of Marvin Gaye will help - I doubt it.
Mus: likely stuck between in a middle of another disagreement between mother and daughter.
If she goes there I'll switch my already extremely tenuous CFB allegiance from Michigan to the Spartans. Senorita Mus is a better reason to cheer for a school than "I quite like Jim Harbaugh".
