Scenery changes on all of those, the A50 is monotonous. Agree that putting a massive dual carriageway through Stoke is one of the greatest bits of town planning ever implemented.

Of course Stoke isn't really what it is. Except as one of over 1000 hamlets, grouped together to pretend that it's actually a thing.
The A50 is the root of my theory that Uttoxeter doesn't actually exist.
It does. I went there recently. Its just that nobody cares that it exists, which means that it's existence leaves no measurable mark on reality.
Unless it's like Brigadoon.
It's not like Brigadoon.
I can confirm Brigadoon exists. We got married there.
Uf curse ya dud, lassie.
Did you see the whole of the moon whilst there?
A50 didn't seem as bad today. Maybe the fact i haven't done it for a while helped.
And next time I'll be using it to escape from stoke...
We have booked four holidays for next year. Only one might involve the A50. Could have gone in what's pleasing me thread.
I'm afraid it really does. I have close relatives who lived there for many, many years, including my father. Although none of them are alive anym....
Wait a moment......
In a surprise to no-one, 841 Euston to Liverpool cancelled.
On the 8.46 Euston to Stafford, change there to Liverpool.
Hopefully.
Still, means you get a free train journey up with not that much difference to your arrival time.
The 10.20 from Urmston to Manchester Oxford Road was 2 minutes late. On my way to a Whisky festival. Which I wish I wasn't. There has been too much drinking already this week. And I'm at My Bloody Valentine on Monday which will no doubt involve intoxication.
Currently on second train, scheduled to arrive just over an hour after original time.
Just booked a mini break with a couple of mates to Barcelona in December. Thank god I don't live in Canada and have to go to Winnipeg instead.
Just booked flights to Vancouver for an Easter trip to see the sister in law.
Nearly booked a few weeks ago back but held off and it was now £1800 cheaper.
Not too sure how the 5 year old twins will do on the long flight.
Alot of TV if my 5 year olds trip to Canada was anything to go by.
