Don't worry, you'll have your phone, you can spend lots of time arguing with Tricky.

I might be busy?
I'm planning to mostly keep it turned off. No point in going for a wilderness retreat if you stay connected to the world you're trying to get away from and make sense of.
You're never going to be too busy to argue with me and you know it.
I'd love to do a trip like that. Have fun. Don't get eaten by the bears.
I would pick this to bits, but I've got a lawnmower to service.
Thanks, I am going to be in bear country and will be carrying spray. I'm only doing day hikes/runs though and will be sticking to trails, so I won't be super deep into the back country. If I see bears it will likely only be black bears, which are generally more scared of us than we are them, and it's not cub season so not too much risk of a protective mama.
If you want to watch something on the way out:
I'm glad someone has already done bear due dilligence.
Great movie, but not the kind of thing I'll be doing. Think more Bill Bryson.
Or cougars. Nearly did for Kim Bauer, remember. Think on.
Cougars are probably the most dangerous animal in Canada. I don't know if you were meaning to make a funny but it was a good one.
A Walk in the Woods is my favourite book of all time.
all time.
Good book. But I think Russ' trip sounds closer to Deliverance.
I had Mince down as a glamper.
