Oh yeah, a big part of their skillset is knowing which lies the bank needs telling so that they (the bank) has plausible deniability for lending outside of regulatory guidelines.

The good lady Mrs. Seán and I went on a hot balloon flight over Dovedale and the peak district today. It was most tranquil.
Another balloon, a blue one, flown by another operator just happened to be in tandem with us. This is apparently not an everyday occurance (turns out we were quite fortunate even getting our flight at our chosen location at only the 2nd attempt at booking as they are often cancelled at the merest hint of any sort of 'weather'. Some had rebooked several times over a few years since actually paying).
Anyway I've had that old 'the red car and the blue car had a race' song from the Milky Way ad from bygone days of yore in head all in my head all day as a result.
Ours was the (big) red one and we shit um. Which was nice.
Red is the fastest, bestest colour. FACT.
All red wants to do is stuff his face.
I fucking hate The Beautiful South so much. Real hate.
I thought it was mostly London?
Housemartin's good.
I came into the office this morning and opened the window next to where I sit. Others moaned about it being cold, I pointed out desks available further away from the window and one has moved. I’m now bloody freezing but don’t feel I can shut it.
Solid male behaviour. I salute you.
Put a jumper on, that will really stir it up.
Do you need a little time to think it over?
And then light a fag up
They did write a song about a bloke drinking himself to death, another one about big tits and album titled 'Painting it Red'.
That all being said, all of the above are quite shit, they also wrote that awful song celebrating obesity and Heaton comes across a bit of bellend, so I think on balance I can get behind this.
Could have gone in the What's Pleasing Me thread or in a What's Making Me Sad thread if we had one, but after 12 years and with a heavy heart we've decided to sell our narrowboat and have just accepted an offer. Travelling England's waterways for a few weeks every summer has been one of the joys of the last decade, but we've done just about all of the network now and are fed up with retracing our steps. The network (like everything in Tory UK) is also increasingly starved of money and falling apart. Having the boat has been a bit like having a holiday home - when you're forking out a lot every year you feel you have to use it as much as possible to get value, and that restricts other opportunities for holidays - so on the positive side we might get to travel a bit more often.
For the first time in my life, I have joined a political party.
I’ll bite. Which one and why now?
The Ontario Liberal Party, because I want to vote in their leadership election, because it's essential that they call out and take down the corrupt scumbag who is our current Premier.
