Was thinking about wearing my new boots tonight, but have decided against it, as they are not worn in enough yet.

If you don't move much, will it matter?

Now that I live in non-London I have just bought some walking boots for muddy afternoons in the park and walking along trails and such. They're quite comfortable.

I don't want to risk the foot equivalent of bed sores.

Both PayPal and Lloyds seem to be playing up this morning. Either there's something afoot in the global banking sector or I'm about to be raided for fraud.

The two aren't mutually exclusive I think.

Many things are afoot in global banking. Have you been dealing in crypto as a victim of crime rather than perpetrator? The lines are, admittedly, very blurred.

In the absence of an appropriate medical thread I am forced to post here. Caught a rather virulent bug Brighton a week or so ago that caused problems of a stomach variety. Just managed to pass the first proper manly log since. The world is a slightly better place.

I have also just recovered from a similar sounding bug, I was not at the Brighton game though.

I've had a cough for a few weeks. It's worse at night. My throat feels irritated. Think it might be allergy related, though I've never been tested for anything and am unsure.

Just renewed my virgin broadband and phone contract and saved £20. I could have saved a further £5 by switching to sky. But I decided life's too short.

Mrs RC had the same last week. Woke me up several times in the night needing to visit the big telephone. Which I thought was quite inconsiderate of her.

Was out earlier, while I was waiting I pulled the latest misago 0.34 git repository, amended the misago-image repository, waited for github actions to build and push the new image to docker hub and gchr.io.

On my return pulled the new image, auto-updated the podman stack, and checked that this site is now running on misago 0.34. It is.

A (relative) piece of piss that can be tossed off in spare time, rather than the catastrofuck of maintaining the old site.

As a result of a near 25% increase in my car insurance quote, for no change in circumstances, I spent four hours researching alternatives.

The best I managed was a quote 51 pence more than my renewal quote.

I renewed with my existing insurer.
