Looks like my car is getting written off.

RC will be along in a minute to ask if you made yourself walk home.

Hopefully, yes. Bit frustrating as the accident was the other driver's fault but the age and mileage of the car was against me. Need to speak to the insurance company next to discuss next steps.

We have a 14 year old dog, her insurance is up for renewal and we have been quoted £2.7k for £7k of insurance. So an effective risk of £4k after excess.

We will be self insuring this year.

We joined some scheme from the dogs trust for £25 pa for liability insurance too.

As a company we've never done pet insurance, despite what your quote looks like I don't think insurers make much from it.

Vets and drug companies on the other hand...

It was more a mundane musing on it not being worth paying £3k for £7k insurance.

Got vaxxed to the max yesterday before kennedy bans vaccines. Covid, Flu, pneumonia, tetanus (haven't had a shot since 2009), which comes with diphtheria and whooping cough. The hassle to get these shots forced me into getting the extra ones because the charging was so ridiculous, I wanted to get it over with. My anti vax wife (who used to get regular shots if we traveled before Covid), was concerned that I would get sick or worse sweetly offered to drive me. I tried to get her to at least take the Pneumonia shot (regular old style vaccine) but she said nooooooo way. She does have white coat syndrome so I am not really surprised. There is a massive spate of Pneumonia at the moment so since I am 55 I got the long term shot. People younger than me are getting very sick. Glad America is healthy and ready to lead the world in doing the right thing..... oh...

Anyway, feel okay today. Sleep was a bit rubbish but I will soon be immortal. Now where is that Bird flu shot? Oh the Trump administration is blocking it...sweet!

I thought Kennedy had determined that paracetamol in early pregnancy is the cause of autism? Clever of him to spot that when no-one else has. Or has big pharma been supressing the information for a generic that sells for 3p a tablet?

Kennedy has a lot of ideas but they seem to be aligned with the pharma company that is going to pay him. He is also on testosterone so he is essentially mental right now. All you have to do is watch the Charlie Sheen documentary on netflix and Sheen will admit that not only was he on crack cocaine he was on insane amounts of Testosterone that drove him to madness.

under Kennedy he wants to ban all childhoods vaccination which ended up with the ousting of the CDC director who said, "what are you fucking crazy", or some words to those effect. The Covid vaccine isn't even available in most states unless you are a vunerable individual and or over 65. So it's safe for them but not the general population? How interesting. Illinois (where i live) told the government to go swivel, which is now devolving into battles within the CDC and health and human services and some states themselves. They were also looking at other. vaccines that they want to take off the market to evaluate. Sounds awfully like the situation with Disney and ABC with Jimmy Kimmel where some companies will have to make concessions in order to make money.... (or pay someone off - wink wink...)

    Welcome to Putin's America.

Chicago: Paying the price (as in it cost me to have my shots...poor people are fucked...)

We live in shit times here in the states
