I've never bought any fancy earbuds or sun glasses as they rarely last six months. I either lose them or break them.

I bought my last pair of nice sunglasses in my early 20s. I'm now 45 so they've done OK.

Had to change a flat tyre earlier. Never done it before. Wasn't particularly difficult - although Iqbal the cab driver had to help me undo the bolts - but still felt a sense of 'man achievement'.

I like Angela Raynor, I know it’s been done to death but for her to get where she has in politics has been pretty remarkable.
The right hate her for it and the press have always gone for her because of it. How dare a working class gobby female get in power.
Which does make it a bit more surprising she has fallen foul here as she must have realised they would be look into it after the malicious reports to police for previous housing issues.
She had to go but I find it all a shame. And it’s absolutely nothing from what we will see under the Farage regime (without the resignations, and doubling down obvs).

I was working away last week and the wife had a bit of a clear out (finally). I’ve just gone to put some rubbish out and the bin is absolutely rammed. So now I’ll have to remove that to take the tip so there will be enough space for the domestic waste. I’ve lost count of the amount of times over the years I’ve told her this.

Our local tip started operating an appointment-only system a few years back. You make an appointment via the website or phone and you are given a 15-minute slot to visit. This was annoying at first, but it does mean that you don't have to Queue for an hour on a Sunday to get rid of some tat.
