I've only done a bit of sign writing but soap is a bit of industry no-no, washes off quite easily.

Threw away the aquafaba from the chick peas. Couldn't be arsed to do anything with it.

Yes. Used as a vegan egg substitute, or as a stock.

This new forum is much better than the old one.

    It's a shame JP didn't join.

I now suspect JP may have also been running one of the troll accounts.

Motion seconded. About the forum being better bit.

I had never really given much thought to the troll identities to be honest. Are we sure they really where? Wasn't donny proven to be really real and just a bit, well, donny and Rich B similarly real just a bit, well, massively repugnant fucking racist cunt? And not in an affectionate way.

Curious as to why you say that, and what you perceive as the improvements/comparison?

Not very curious about that. I have actively looked at ways that people might be able to 'comedy' post anonymously (E.L. Whisty style...I don't think it's terrible for someone from the membership group to want to post something unattributable, either for comedy or mischief purposes) ...but it's a difficult thing to accommodate.

The loss of JP as a regular poster has been personally quite disappointing. As has the loss of some other posters in recent years. Not really for any grand community reasons, but because I rather liked hearing from them, and their perspective. It's hard to decide to move in a different direction, at the cost of some attritional loss. I suppose that if you are not a sociopath you do agonise, to some degree, over the impact of your decisions on other people. As much as I am not surprised that many of the major decision makers influencing all of our lives do indeed appear to be sociopaths, it comes as something of a surprise that I might not be.

Mainly the interface / UI / UX or whatever you want to call it. Feels fresh and modern unlike the old site.

I've just pulled a massive, thick thorn out my cats eye, there wasn't any blood or anything so I'm hoping there's no damage. I've put antibiotic eye drops in.
I feel quite queezy now, I'm not great with eyes.
(I'm also feeling quite lucky, she's good as gold and didn't scratch me once)

Our cats are very unhappy after living their lives in one place to be upended not once but twice is going to be tough on them. Especially when one of them is diabetics

Moving day started at 530am and we didn’t get to our new place until 11:25pm. The actual move out of our condo to the storage pods took an unwieldy 13 and a half hours in incredible humidity and heat. Also air quality from the Canadian wildfires had blanketed the city. The movers almost quit on us but we bought them lunch and paid them a very large tip on top of our fee. They weren’t being dicks they were gassed completely. We were on the third floor with very tight corridors both in the front and back and no lifts. They were dead on their feet. I helped as much as I could but Jesus this was a rough rough job.

Phase one of our move is done. Phase two is getting an appraisal and getting this fucking house which is almost completed. Then moving all of our stuff from the massive storage pods to the house.

I think moving in with be easier. We were moving out as the new owners were moving in and it was a giant pig fcuk. The new owners were pushy and wanted to be in but I had to remind them that our rent back was until the end of June 29th. They backed down and tried to work with us after we got into a particularly nasty log jam and I reminded them of the legal document that we all signed.

We made it. It was a very hard day. Back at work now. 14 plus hour days working at a gym a day is absolutely nothing compared with being a mover.

I cannot imagine doing that every day.

    Well done to everyone involved.
