I’ve never heard that but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a thing. Traditionally they mean different things depending on where you are in the world. Mostly love or romance.
Caveat: I have five tattoos with flowers of some description as some part of them. Three have roses.
My midlife crisis has been cracking along for years now. The most recent evidence being a record collection that’s taking up far too much space in our front room and a sizable chest tattoo (shoulder to shoulder, just below the neck to upper stomach). Sternum shading was, by some distance, the most uh.. ‘challenging’ tattoo session yet.
