I was in Stoke last week if that's of any help?

I'm at a conference this week. Day 3 opened with a specially commissioned rap. This guy probably grew up in the hood dreaming of being Ice-T or ODB or 50 Cent, and here he is rapping about managed service providers and channel growth strategies for the amusement of fat middle aged white men.

And we wonder why we have a mental health crisis.

For the next conference I attend I'm going to request that the marketing team cover the booth in signs that say "SUIT JACKET AND JEANS IS NOT EVER, IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AN ACCEPTABLE LOOK".

Think that look used to be known as Eton Change.

Edit: on reflection I think it’s called Half Change and is/was the favoured casual dress for those lovely chaps at Eton. That’s another shit thing they’ve given us.

Cunts absolutely love that down here. I was in a room with 600 bank reps and mortgage brokers yesterday.. you know the type.. wall to wall with ^ that sort of thing.

Mind you, when it comes to sartorial matters I am way closer to tricky than any man should be comfortable being.. so maybe I should STFU.

Tricky clothing announced our new spring range just last week. I'll dig out the press release. It's round here somewhere. Ah, got it.

"Yeah, just wear the stuff you've got. Clothes should last at least ten years. Failing that you should have a few jumpers and socks left over from Xmas. They will do."

We are holding a presser in Antarctica next week. All invited, except chic. Coverage as normal in the secret board.

In other news I'm up. No alarm. Waking earlier with the natural light. Will continue learning opnsense today.

I still have a few things with the ‘Next’ label to signify I’ve at least had it since before I moved here eight years ago. Mostly my entire wardrobe is so deliberately non-descript that I couldn’t tell you if it’s six months or six years old. But I largely agree with the broad strokes of that. There now being zero difference between ‘work clothes’ and ‘everything else clothes’ is very pleasing and has removed any final stresses I had over deciding what to wear.

I could conceivably live the rest of my life without wearing any part of a suit outside of weddings and funerals.

Suits are great and I love wearing them, but they are designed to be worn in their entirety.

I also love sport jackets, they are fine with jeans because they are not made with matching trousers.

Boss at my old place has sent me a photo of an enormous poo someone has done around the back door (ahem).

It looks to be a really impressive size, like King Kong’s finger. To cap it off they appear to have wiped using a couple of microfibre cloths.

    I’ve denied responsibility.

Looks like a suit jacket to me.

Or is it made out of tracksuit material?
