Not enough Marmite and honey in it for you?
Not enough Marmite and honey in it for you?
I have some of those. They mostly seem to be some form of curry (leave it!) but I haven't dared defrost and try them. I probably should, they're not maturing like fine wines.
I have a lot of them...and a load of bread. I mostly eat one, throw one away. Seems like a workable formula. This one was a particularly alarming colour. Unless you like your food beige/yellow.
Me and Jr are starting to play golf, we are looking for a course which doesn't mind two shit players hacking around.
Any recommendations?
During our groups brief golf interlude we went to Edwalton. 9 holes par 3, 9 holes of erm normal golfage. Was pretty cheap.
Edwalton is a good quality nine. Gets a fair bit of play as a municipal at busy times ( after work during the summer, weekends ). I did have the son of a football friend who could get us on any time we fancied, but unfortunately he no longer works there so that service is not available.
Charnwood forest is an amazing nine holes. You may have to demonstrate a level of competence though. ... and it will be more expensive.
Agree that a 9 hole pay and play course would be a good idea.
Thanks all.
Will look at that one, at moment also showing no tea times at all.
Also found one in Enderby. Six hills also looks OK.
Six Hills is pretty good for beginners. It’s where I went in my teens.
Quit my job today. I do have another one to go to, so it's more mundane than anything else.
Quitting a job when you have your next one lined up is the best thing ever. You get that window of however many weeks where you are beholden to no one while still getting paid for it. It's awesome.
They've already done the reference checks so as long as I stop short of actually criminal negligence/incompetence/malice I should be fine. But it's a small world I work in so I can't go burning bridges.
Good Quo reference.
I quit mine with 11 weeks gardening leave and nothing lined up. Thankfully got something midway through, so the last five/six weeks were bliss
I really enjoyed working as a river crossing arsonist, but I can't go back...
I should have guessed Dave would make a flaming puntoon.
