Anyone have a suggestion for recycling ink cartridges?

I have loads of empty ones that are almost all already reconditioned ones and googling I'm not sure if anyone recycled them?

Also have some unused (recycled) ones from previous printer that no longer works.

They are all Canon inkjet if that makes any difference.

A local charity might collect them?

A lady in the village collects them to be recycled and is given money which is put towards upkeep of the green.

I’ve got about 10 in a bag in the kitchen and have been meaning to drop them off for a couple of years but just keep adding to the bag instead.

The recycle website suggests going to the council recycle centre at Kew.

It says 2.1 miles away, but the traffic would make it an 1.5+ round trip I reckon.

Probably easiest just to throw them away.

You could blend them, and then flush them? That maximises the chance of them entering the food chain.

That's not quite true is it. For the fastest time you need to coat them in marmite and stilton then mail them to Cotgrave.

One of the good ones. It’s a 7.5 on my tip-o-meter.

Tried to write "Nyasha" on my phone. Which autocorrect converted to "Hyaena".

It is quite clear that my phone is a racist.

Don't be a cunt. It's a 'he'. Or maybe not. Who fucking knows what he feels like today.

Nyasha is a unisex name, or so Wiki tells me.

My namesake who doesn't understand why he doesn't own my email address has apparently signed up with a marketing agency who specialise in marketing to Christians, and who are now desperately trying to get me to have a meeting with them. The opportunity to have fun with this is obvious but I've decided to be the bigger man, and just send it to spam.

Someone in Derbyshire gave his new workplace my email address, I was receiving his payslips and pension details, I had to contact his company to get them to stop as its a serious privacy breach. They didn't seem to bothered.

I get texts from Social security (genuine ones) about filling in a PiP (I think it is) for disability benefits.

I called the number and told them they had the wrong phone number for this person. They were surprised I had bothered to call, thanked me and I still periodically get the texts.

Played freezer roulette. Defrosted one of those unlabelled frozen portions of leftover food, that I have long since forgotten what it is. Anyway, turned out it was some sort of fish curry. I wouldn't describe it as nice, but I haven't started projectile vomiting yet.
