Just started watching An Unearthly Child (the very first Doctor Who episode). I'm going to slowly watch the entire back catalogue of 800 episodes. It may take a while.

I tnought there was some sort of dispute with the estate of the writer (Anthony Coburn) preventing it being shown with everything else 'Whoniverse' related on iPlayer. Or is that all sorted now?

Some of the longer 6-7 parters are a slog, and fuck all hapens in AUC so kudos if you're new to it and it through.

I recently (well over the last few months of 2023) watched all of DS9. I find it quite nice to have a thing on the go as a casual watch. I'll still watch other stuff, and films with Mrs Shady etc. But this will be the thing I watch on the tube 20 minutes, while doing the washing up, folding some clothes etc.

DS9 is fucking ace. Seasons 4 to 7 and thevarcs therein is some of the best TV ever, of any genre.

    There I said it.

And I don't think anyone will disagree with you, Sean.

You're correct, I've had to get a trial license for BritBox who hold the license.

Ah, good work. I thought it had left Britbox already (as I think its slated to) after all the the classic stuff went up on to iPlayer with everything else.

It did feel a bit dirty for some reason.

When we moved to Bozza I envisaged lighting the log burner would be a faff, but it's actually quite enjoyable - and not just in an ug man make fire way.

I’ve been eyeing up a log burner. I do enjoy lighting fires and this seems to be a legal way to do it.

I wouldn't bother, the environmental issues with them mean they'll be banned soon to protect air quality. They are really bad.
