Removed a dead baby bird from the deck. Thankfully I discovered it before my wife, who would have spent the rest of the day in a funk about the unforgiving cruelty of nature, or my dog, who would have eaten it.

Thankfully Mrs Russ wasn’t visiting last week then, when the youngest of our 3 dogs, found new born bunnies in the middle of our strawberry patch… quite why the rabbits decided that the middle of our back garden was the perfect place to give birth is a different question, based on the understanding that rabbits give birth to 5 at a time, only one made it out alive…

Just been offered hospitality tickets for me & my son to the Champs League final Saturday, £600/ticket, which is apparently 10% of what they usually go for!
I still think its too much seeing as I don't care about any of the teams & my son has zero interest in football.

I know someone who was looking for the cheapest possible seats and paid two and a half grand. £600 sounds a bargain......and no, personally I'm not ever paying that for any ordinary seat at any sort of football match. I'd buy a new car or something instead.
