Turns out I still don't like them.
I don't like Russ as a human but I agree with him on this entirely: a sports jacket is different to a blazer is different to a suit jacker and a suit jacket should never be worn with anything other than the bottom half and a sports jacket can be worn worn with chinos and jeans.
Obviously in prisons its simpler because they just wear a stripey uniform or a plain uniform depending on whether they're guards or inmates.

My personal relationship using plusnet as a broadband provider ended today. Until now i'd only ever had three providers covering thirty years. CompuServe, demon, force9/plusnet/bt. The first two quit me. The last one became BT.
Bought a refractometer for my maple syrup production. My wife looked at me as I explained what it is and how to use it, and said "every day you become more like tricky".
Finally caved. 70 days, aim was 90 but I'll do the other 20 in a fortnight. For now, it is Easter.
Sometimes I do worry that you undermine your cartoony mainstream persona by displaying the intelligent traits of a well rounded human being. At least, in this respect, you can assure the good lady mrs russ that you are nothing like tricky at all.
Today's return train has thr same ticket inspector as last night and when checking our tickets he said "3 adults, that's debatable" and warned us that if any of us some much as think about drinking on this train he's throwing us off in the middle of nowhere.
Challenge accepted.
