Sports jackets and blazers are different, although not markedly (primarily buttons and fabric). They are though both very different to a suit jacket.

I am amused by the fact that Russ sees folks in suit jacket and jeans as cunts but sports jacket and jeans as stylish when the rest of the would can't tell the difference and just think "cunt" to anyone wearing a jacket and jeans.

Of course they do, hence why I'm calling it out. Plenty of you obviously have given up on any pretence of sartorial elegance, or never had any.

It's pretty straightforward. If it looks like it has a pair of matching trousers in the closet at home, it's a suit jacket. If it has plain fabric and shiny buttons, it's a blazer. Otherwise, it's probably a sport jacket.

Sport jackets generally look good with jeans. Blazers can look good with jeans but they're a bit more difficult to pull off without looking like a Hooray Henry. Suit jackets with jeans just look like you got dressed in the dark and accidentally put the wrong trousers on.

I was concerned for a moment that, in my ignorance, I may have slandered 600 mortgage brokers. But no, they are all cunts.

That’s a nonsense distinction. I can probably spot 100% of the jackets that do have a matching pair of trousers.. but 0% of the ones that don’t. I don’t know what trousers any given cunt doesn’t own.

I don't own the matching trousers for my suit jacket, so I think it's OK.
